About Student Portal
Context
Originated as a team-based hackathon project at ILMA University, Student Portal was built to centralize everyday student workflows—courses, attendance, grades, and announcements—into a clean, responsive web interface.
The problem
Students frequently have to check multiple notice boards, spreadsheets, or disconnected portals to track their course schedules, attendance standing, and semester announcements.
The solution
We developed a centralized React and TypeScript portal backed by Node.js and MongoDB that organizes course tracking, attendance records, grade summaries, and announcements in a single dashboard.
Student Portal is an educational management web application developed during the ILMA University Hackathon. Built with React, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, and Framer Motion, it provides students and academic staff with a structured portal for tracking enrolled courses, session attendance, assessment grades, and institutional announcements.

Built as a responsive React + TypeScript single-page application styled with Tailwind CSS and Material UI, paired with a Node.js and MongoDB backend for authentication and academic record persistence.
